On March 18, 2015 Bill Pendergrass visited the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) and got to witness this great set of Beefmaster sired calves out of commercial Beefmaster influenced cows. UAM has been using Beefmaster sires in their program since 1999 beginning with the legendary Hilltop Ranch foundation sire Classic Cotton.

There are still several Beefmaster sired cows born in the early 2000’s still in production at UAM. BBU salutes UAM and the Research Station at Monticello for their valuable research on Bos Indicus influenced genetics.
